Mike
Curran was born on January 24, 1948 and raised on the southside of Chicago.
He was the sixth of seven children of an Irish Catholic family. Mike
graduated from De LaSalle Institute, just a stone's throw away from White Sox Park. After
graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps. Mike served 1st Marine
Division, 5th/7th Communications Battalion, just outside DaNang, Vietnam in 1969. |
